INTRALASE™ BLADELESS LASIK

June 19th, 2008 Posted in Lasik Technology

IntraLase is a major breakthrough in laser vision correction since the invention of the excimer laser. Being at the forefront of prior art laser vision correction surgery, Dr. Niksarli acquired this advanced technology over three years ago, as one of the pioneering surgeons in the bladeless LASIK surgery. The IntraLase laser system allows you to select LASIK surgeons to offer their patients a computer-controlled alternative to traditional LASIK, which is still commonly performed with a mechanical device, namely the microkeratome. With IntraLase, the femtosecond laser creates a thin flap with more predictable thickness. Patients with corneas or THIN HIGH recipes benefit most from this technology. In addition, with this advanced technology, more patients are now able to avoid the long recovery time surface laser treatment, also known as PRK, LASEK, Epi-LASIK. The IntraLase marks a significant breakthrough in the flap creation technology. During their consultation, the doctor Niksarli will tell you if you would benefit from the IntraLase technology.
