Dr. Faktorovich
Dr Faktorovich She founded the Pacific Vision Institute in 1998. Her commitment to the promotion of refraction options for patients has led it to be considered a leader in California ophthalmologists. She is one of the first surgeons in San Francisco to have performed LASIK vision correction, and is also the first surgeon in the San Francisco Bay Area certified by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance. So far has made tens of thousands of procedures.
After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from UC Berkeley, Dr. Faktorovich received her Medical degree with honors from UCSF School of Medicine. After ending her ophthalmology residency at UCSF, who devoted two years to advanced sub-specialist training and research in laser and refractive surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine.
She is highly respected in her field and has given numerous LASIK procedures, as well as other advanced laser and refractive surgery methods to their peers. He has received numerous awards and honors for her dedication and innovation in the field.
Dr Faktorovich has made significant contributions to the field of refractive surgery complete award-winning research on corneal scarring laser vision correction following. In addition to publishing many articles, abstracts and book chapters on transplantation and laser cornea and refractive surgery, has been invited to lecture extensively both in the United States and abroad.
Dr Faktorovich is currently on the faculty in the department of ophthalmology of the UCSF VA Medical Center. She is the founder and remains the Chairman of the annual San Francisco Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Symposium and the Pacific Vision Foundation Research Institute.
She is listed in the best doctors in americas and in the Top 100 Health Professionals in the World. Under her leadership, Pacific Vision Institute invests in the largest part of the most advanced technology of any refractive surgery practice in San Francisco.
